The Bambou-Assainissement®

The PHYTOREM® solutions work thanks to the exclusive and patented Bambou-Assainissement® technology. They are adapted to wastewater treatment (domestic wastewater, stormwater, food industry effluents, composting, etc.) and solid maters (soils, sludge, sediments, etc.).

They are custom-designed, after a study of the polluting substances to be treated, the nature of the soil and the configuration of the site where the plant must be established.

These solutions are adapted to communities, industrial groups (particularly food industry), farmers (livestock breeders, wine growers, etc.) and many others.

They look like a bamboo plantation that integrates perfectly into the landscape and which surface area can vary depending on the amount of wastewater to be treated.

Depending on the surface area available, the nature of the contaminants and the discharge objectives set, it can be:

  • Extensive solutions, on existing soil, particularly adapted to large areas,
  • Dissipation areas solutions, permit buffering discharges in surface water environments,
  • Joint solutions, adapted to sensitive receiving environments,
  • Intensive solutions, on selected substrate, adapted to the industrial sector.

Natural expansion of bamboo plantations and biomass recovery

The PHYTOREM® solutions can expand naturally, without any additional investment, thanks to the high growth potential of bamboo. This natural expansion permits communities but also companies to carry out new projects:

Construction of new buildings, increase in the production capacity, broadening of the offer, etc.

The PHYTOREM® eco-wastewater treatment plants also permit to produce significant amounts of biomass resulting from the cutting of bamboos. This biomass can be recovered in various recycling sectors such as the energy sector (boilers fueling, etc.), the bioenergy sector (second-generationbiofuels, etc.), the building industry, the furniture industry, the craft industry, etc. and/or in the framework of pedagogical projects, training and  integration through employment.

They are a strong communication element for companies and communities, and are fully in line with environmental and sustainable development requirements.
