Biomass production and development

The Bambou-Assainissement® eco-wastewater treatment plants have the advantage of producing significant amounts of high quality biomass that can be recovered. Bamboo is one of the most wood productive plants. And its biomass has very interesting characteristics: higher heating value (HHV between 5,000 and 5,400 kWh/ton of dry matter, similar to the one of broad-leaved tree species), combustion producing very little ash which limits fouling in combustion systems, high tensile strength (6 times more resistant than steel for the same mass ratio) which permits this biomass to be used in many different ways and particularly in the building, furniture, textile, paper, food, pharmaceutical industries and others.

Visite M Hollande 11/04/2014 Airbus Helicopters 4

Mexico: Mr François Hollande, French President, visits the Airbus Helicopters wastewater treatment plant.

The 11th of april of 2014, the President of the French Republic, Mr. François Hollande, visited in Airbus Helicopters Queretaro, the first Mexican wastewater treatment plant using the Bambou-Assainissement® process designed by Phytorem SA.
